Latavia Roberson began writing at the age of 11 years old. One day her friend decided she didn't want to be friends anymore & rather than cry in the presence of her peers, she asked her teacher if she could go to the School's Library. She went in & asked for paper & a pencil, sat down, and began to write about how she felt. Ever since that day, she has been expressing herself through poetry, oftentimes writing in secret. She did her very first recital at the age of 17 at her friend's Church and shortly thereafter, she began to recite at her own church in 1999. This would continue throughout the year 2005.

Between 2005 - 2013, Latavia continued to write but was no longer reciting; not even in her local church. In 2014, God divinely connected her with a Christian Comedy Promoter and after 8 years, God began to open doors like never before. Over the course of the last 2 years, she has been a part of several Christian & Secular Comedy Shows, Various Church / Women's Conferences, Pastoral Celebrations, Charitable Events, and was featured as 1of 21 "Women of Power," in her hometown of Pensacola Florida in 2015.  August 20, 2016, at the age of 36, God blessed her to release her first book (Self-Published) entitled - "It Happened to Me: I Survived It!" as well as her first Cd of Spoken Word entitled, "Kitchen Talk."  She recently completed another Cd of Spoken Word, entitled - "My Truth." These are tools God has given her to share with the world, as she travels & ministers God-given messages through Spoken Word.

She resides in Pensacola, Fl where she is employed full-time at her job of 17 years as Executive Director.  She also serves her Bishop & First Lady at her local church that she has been a part of for 16 years. Last, but not least, God has blessed her with 2 beautiful children who she loves dearly, Tanea & Teana Roberson
